December 2, 2025 — Boca Raton, FL — The American 7s Football League (A7FL®) announced today that CEO Sener Korkusuz will participate in Benedict College’s upcoming business and sales program presentations on December 2nd and 4th. The sessions focus on franchise ownership and investment models, giving students the opportunity to present directly to the league’s top executive.
The invitation comes from Kevin Wilson, Assistant Professor and eSports Program Director in the Health & Sport Management Department at Benedict College’s School of Education, Health and Human Services. Wilson’s students will be pitching their evaluations of A7FL’s business structure, division ownership vs. franchise ownership, and Korkusuz will join as the featured industry leader reviewing their work.
Benedict College, a distinguished HBCU known for its strong School of Business & Entrepreneurship and competitive NCAA Division II athletics program, has built a reputation for producing workforce-ready graduates with real-world business acumen. The students participating in this project are upper-level business majors focused on franchise ownership, investment modeling, and sports-business strategy making the A7FL’s expansion blueprint an ideal case study. With many students actively exploring careers in sports management and entrepreneurship, this collaboration offers them direct access to a rapidly growing professional sports league.
This marks the latest in a growing list of university engagements for Korkusuz, who has been steadily expanding his involvement in sports, entrepreneurship, and innovation programs across the U.S. and abroad. Over the past year, he has collaborated with and spoken to students at:
- Florida Atlantic University (FAU)
- Henley Business School (UK)
- New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT)
- University of Miami
- Lynn University
These partnerships reflect A7FL’s commitment to developing the next generation of sports leaders, operators, and entrepreneurs while showcasing the league’s fast-growing footprint in the professional sports ecosystem.
“Students get a firsthand look at how a real sports league scales, faces challenges, and builds opportunity,” said Korkusuz. “I’ve always believed in being accessible. If the next major sports innovator is sitting in a classroom, they deserve a shot to present their ideas to the person who actually makes decisions.”
The Benedict College presentations will run from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM EST on both days. Students will analyze A7FL’s operational model, expansion strategy, and revenue pathways, presenting recommendations on which ownership system best supports growth.
A7FL continues to gain momentum nationwide ahead of its 2026 season, with expansion interest rising and new educational, business, and community partnerships forming across multiple states and countries. The league actively collaborates with universities, student programs, and sports-management initiatives, and welcomes schools and organizations interested in exploring partnerships or learning more about A7FL’s innovative approach to sports, business, and player development to get in touch at info@a7fl.com.
