Paterson U vs Tampa A-Team
Another week, another blowout for the Patterson U. This one was especially brutal as PU Beats the Aces 77 to 6 with mercy called with 4:14 left to go in the 4th quarter. Quatrell Huffin was unreal. 9 of 13 for 248 yards and 5 touchdowns in the air and had 3 rushes for 20 yards and 2 touchdowns. Devon Grey on the other side of the ball had a challenging day. He was 5 of 16 for 15 yards in the air and had 5 turnovers: 3 Interceptions and 2 lost fumbles. Two of those turnovers turned into 12 Patterson U points. Speed Demon Davis had 8 returns for 231 yards and the Aces only touchdown. Paterson U moves into position to win their second A7FL title in a row next week in the A7FL Championship Game against the Trenton BIC
Los Angeles Aces vs Trenton BIC
Today, the New Jersey division was 2 and 0 as the BIC beat the Aces 46 to 6. The Aces only got 23 yards in the air. Arthur Fields was 4 of 20 for 23 yards and two interceptions. The Aces running back Mallard had 10 rushes for 139 yards and Barlow had 4 rushes for 39 yards and a touchdown, but the BIC stopped the aces in the redzone 3 times this game.
Sterry Codrington had another tremendous outing going 8 of 13 for 202 yards and 4 tds He ran for 94 yards and a TD as well. Ashante Worthy completed the BIC’s aerial assault with a 35 yard TD pass to Kason Campbell, who had 2 on the day on only 2 catches for 56 yards.
