HomeTown Ticketing Founder Nate Nale Augments Ownership Ranks

Asbury Park, NJ (August 17, 2022) – The American 7s Football League, featuring no helmets no pads full contact action, has announced the addition of a new A7FL® Columbus division, its second in Ohio, along with its new owner, HomeTown Ticketing Founder Nate Nale.

The new Columbus division is set to launch in 2023 and will feature 4 teams for the A7FL’s 9th April-July Spring football season. The Columbus division will compete against in-state rivals from the A7FL’s existing Cincinnati division but also against the rest of the league, which will now total 10 divisions. With his experience in live events, digital ticketing, and sponsorships, Nale will also be joining the A7FL® advisory board as the league continues to grow.

Nale is the Founder of HomeTown Ticketing, the leading digital ticketing provider in both K–12 and collegiate spaces, serving schools, districts, conferences, and associations. Additionally, Nale is an active investor & advisor with a growing investment portfolio of companies ranging from motorcycle dealerships, merchandise liquidation, vehicle wraps, gas & oil, cryptocurrency, real estate development, and exotic car leasing.

The A7FL’s popularity continues to explode – the league now exceeds 200 million total views/year and 750,000 social media followers; it’s expanded across the country – including Boston, New Jersey, Maryland, Orlando, Cincinnati, Las Vegas, San Diego, Los Angeles and Washington, DC.

“As our league continues to grow, it’s essential that we attract partners like Nate Nale who share our vision for the business and the game of football,” said A7FL Co-Founder and CEO Sener Korkusuz. “Nate’s proven business acumen and eye for growth opportunities will be tremendous assets for our advisory board and for putting an even better product out on the field.”

“I’m beyond excited to join the A7FL family – I’ve watched the league grow from afar over the years and am a huge fan,” added Nale. “There is no other sport out there that rivals our exciting style of football, and I can’t wait to bring that action to all the football fans in Columbus next year.”

“I’m proud to have another Ohio division into the fold – the state is a hotbed for football, and this further proves it,” said Joe Perez, owner of the A7FL Cincinnati division. “It’s great to have Columbus join us, but we’re planning a warm Cincinnati welcome come 2023 to let them know which Ohio city rules the roost.

The A7FL’s 2022 season Games of the Week aired live on Sundays at 1 and 4 PM ET on Stadium, the first 24/7 multi-platform sports network that is part of the Sinclair Broadcast Group portfolio of sports properties, and on FITE Plus outside the United States.  In addition, both networks air the prior Sunday’s cutdown game replays at various times during the week and on VOD.
