A7FL Expands to Georgia – New Atlanta Team Set to Ignite the South in 2026

League Invites Coaches, Players, and Local Partners to Join the Next Chapter of No-Helmet, No-Pads Football

Boca Raton, FL – [Oct 14th, 2025] –  The American 7s Football League® (A7FL®), one of the fastest-growing football leagues in the United States, is expanding into Georgia with a brand-new team set to represent Atlanta in the league’s 2026 season (Season 12).

Known for its hard-hitting, no-helmet, no-pads format, the A7FL continues to redefine the future of football with its combination of raw athleticism, innovation, and unmatched entertainment value. The addition of an Atlanta-based franchise marks a major step in the league’s continued national expansion, bringing its unique style of football to one of the most passionate sports markets in the country.

The ownership group, led by Jermale Campbell, will soon unveil the team’s official name and identity, a brand designed to embody Atlanta’s fire, culture, and grit.

“This is a movement for the city,” said Jermale Campbell, owner of the soon-to-be-announced Atlanta franchise. “We’re bringing a new era of football to Georgia, one that celebrates real athletes, real competition, and real community impact.”

The new Atlanta team will make its debut when the A7FL 2026 season throws off on March 15, 2026, and will compete through the summer for a shot at the 7s Cup Championship and the league’s $25,000 grand prize on June 28, 2026.

As part of the league’s expansion, the Atlanta franchise is actively recruiting coaches, players, volunteers, and local partners to be part of its inaugural season.
