Owner Jermale Campbell Unveils Team Identity and Uniform for the 2026 Season
Boca Raton, FL — [October 28, 2025] — The American 7s Football League® (A7FL®), one of the fastest-growing sports leagues in the country, today proudly announced its newest expansion franchise: the Atlanta Inferno. The team, owned and led by entrepreneur and sports advocate Jermale Campbell, marks the league’s official arrival in Atlanta, a city with a deep sports legacy and a passionate football culture.
The Atlanta Inferno embodies the fire and intensity of Atlanta’s competitive spirit. The newly unveiled team uniform features bold black, red, and silver colors, highlighted by the Inferno’s fierce hawks and flame logo, symbolizing both passion and power.
As team owner, Jermale Campbell brings a strong background in business and community leadership. His vision is to build a team that not only competes for championships but also serves as a source of pride and opportunity for athletes and fans in the Atlanta area.
“I’m honored to bring A7FL football to Atlanta,” said Campbell. “This is a chance to showcase the incredible talent in our city, provide new opportunities for athletes, and give fans a football experience like no other. The Inferno will be a force on the field and a movement off of it.”
The Atlanta Inferno will debut in the A7FL’s upcoming 2026 season (Season 12), which throws off on March 15, 2026, and culminates in the league’s championship, The 7s Championship, on June 28, 2026. The championship-winning team will take home a $25,000 prize and the coveted 7s Cup trophy.
“The Inferno name represents the fire, energy, and resilience of Atlanta,” said A7FL CEO Sener Korkusuz. “With the Inferno joining our league, under Jermale’s leadership, we’re expanding that legacy and giving athletes across Georgia a new stage to prove themselves.”
As part of its inaugural season preparation, the Atlanta Inferno is actively recruiting coaches, support staff, volunteers, and players to join the team and help build a powerhouse for 2026. Interested applicants can reach out directly at inferno@a7fl.com.
Founded in 2014, the A7FL has redefined the game of tackle football with its innovative 7-on-7, no-helmet, no-pad format, now broadcast across major platforms including FOX Soul, DAZN, and Stadium. The addition of the Atlanta Inferno marks another milestone in the league’s continued national expansion.
