Expect physical play and big moments. This one likely comes down to execution late.

Silk City Animals vs. Lexington Phantoms

The Animals handled business in Week 1. Now they go on the road into a tougher environment against a Phantoms team that also opened with a win.
This is one of the best matchups of the week, two teams that can score, hit, and dictate pace. The Phantoms at home are a problem, but the Animals have already shown they can control a game start to finish.
Watch for: Explosive plays, this game could turn into a shootout quickly.
Vegas Hunters vs. Las Vegas SickWidit

The Insomniacs dominated SickWidit in Week 1, and now SickWidit has to respond fast, or risk falling behind early in the season.
The Hunters didn’t get the result they wanted either, which means both teams come in desperate, the Hunters maybe a little more so. This is about pride as much as standings.
Expect intensity early. The question is who can sustain it.
Watch for: SickWidit’s response after a tough loss.
The Bigger Picture
Week 2 is where narratives start forming.
- Are the Phantoms ready to turn home-field advantage into a real contender statement?
- Can Trenton BIC reassert itself?
- Which teams are already fighting to stay alive?
