Boca Raton, FL — The American 7s Football League (A7FL) today officially announces the full league schedule of its 12th season, throwing off Sunday, March 15, 2026, with an expanded lineup, renewed rivalries, and live national broadcasts. The league continues to redefine the future of football with its full-contact, no helmets, no pads format spotlighting pure athleticism, real toughness, and the kind of highlight-reel moments that keep fans glued to the screen.
A7FL will compete across 8 markets in 2026, each bringing its own brand of culture, toughness, and fan base energy:
Cincinnati
Atlanta
Las Vegas
Los Angeles
New Jersey
Virginia
Washington DC
Baltimore
The league also introduces the Atlanta Inferno, a team built to make noise from Day 1. Expect high-speed playmakers, aggressive defensive fronts, and a fan base that’s already loud before the first snap.
Meanwhile, Los Angeles returns to full action in 2026 with the Compton Accelerators gearing up for the season. The West Coast market has been strengthening behind the scenes, recruiting raw talent from the region’s powerhouse high schools, semi-pro circuits, and competitive flag leagues. L.A. players are tired of the league talking about the East being the standard. They’ve got a point to prove.
A League Built for Viral Moments
Season after season, the A7FL continues to be a highlight factory, stiff-arms, truck sticks, hurdling safeties, and game-winning lateral chaos. Expect new stars to emerge, and don’t be surprised when players you’ve never heard of on Opening Day are all over your feed by Week 4.
Plenty of league veterans are returning too, including championship-caliber quarterbacks, defensive captains who hit like wrecking balls, and dynamic runners who turn ordinary plays into internet-shattering footage.
Trenton BIC Enter 2026 As Defending Champions
The BIC have been the A7FL standard for physicality, discipline, and explosive big-play offense. They don’t just win, they impose. But every market has leveled up. Cincinnati is stacking size and speed. Virginia has retooled and is sick of second place. Vegas has athletes who can turn any broken play into six. And the new Atlanta Inferno? They didn’t join this league just to participate, they came to disrupt. Season 12 isn’t a victory lap for Trenton BIC. It’s open season on the crown. The only question now: who’s coming to take their throne?
“Trenton BIC earned the title in 2025, but let’s be clear, that target on their back couldn’t be any bigger,” said A7FL President Ryan DePaul. “Teams have been recruiting, training, and building specifically to knock them off. Season 12 is going to expose who really wants it and who just says they want it.”
The Schedule Drop: What to Know
Every team will play a 7-week regular-season slate, culminating in a playoff bracket beginning May 17 and finishing with the Championship on June 28.
Game-of-the-Week broadcast windows and national distribution details will be released in the coming weeks.
Rookies will break out, veterans will set the tone, and every market will put up clips worth replaying.
Why Season 12 Matters
The A7FL has spent more than a decade building an alternative football culture rooted in authenticity and real stories, no gimmicks, no bubble-wrap rules. Season 12 marks a turning point: new markets are investing deeper, rosters are stacked, broadcast coverage is expanding, and fan engagement is scaling into millions.
“A7FL Season 12 represents a turning point of the sport. More athletes are training specifically for this format. More markets are stepping up. And the fans are hungry for a version of football that feels real again,” said A7FL CEO Sener Korkusuz. “This is the year everything levels up.”
