A7FL Taps NRGized Media For Communications Strategy & Media Outreach

Entering its 7th season, American 7s Football adds sports, entertainment and lifestyle specialist as PR agency of record

BOCA RATON, FL, Jan 27, 2021: The American 7s Football League® (A7FL), pioneering no-helmets, no-pads, full-contact tackle football league, has named public relations and brand consultancy NRGized Media as its agency of record. Led by founder Marlon LeWinter, NRGized Media will leverage its sports industry expertise to elevate the league’s brand and expand its fanbase via communications strategy as well as comprehensive media outreach.

“Since our 2015 launch, the A7FL has received an extraordinary amount of organic press exposure including outlets such as Forbes, ESPN, Barstool Sports, Sports Illustrated and many others,” said A7FL Co-Founder and CEO Sener Korkusuz, “But with our expansion to 32 teams for 2021, we have many more stories to tell and NRGized gives us that capability and much more.”

NRGized Media’s Marlon LeWinter brings nearly two decades of PR experience to the A7FL’s highlight-centric, younger-skewing brand of football.  The two-time finalist for PR News’ Platinum PR Award has executed a multitude of campaigns for notable clients including The American Cornhole League, Under Armour, Microsoft, and Timex. Prior to launching NRGized Media in 2016, LeWinter worked with Venus Williams to brand and promote her clothing line EleVen.

“I am beyond proud and excited to collaborate with Sener, Ryan, David and the entire A7FL.” said LeWinter. “We have a great story to tell – not only about our league – but our fans will truly feel a connection with our players once they learn their backstories and will enjoy supporting them both on and off the field”

The relationship with NRGized comes at an exciting stage in the A7FL’s development. In addition to a number of new business partners, the league recently announced 8-team expansion divisions in San Diego and Orlando. With these new additions, the A7FL will kick off its 2021 season on April 11 featuring 32 teams across 4 divisions (Maryland, Florida, New Jersey and Southern California). Following the league’s 7-week regular season and 3-week playoffs, the 2021 A7FL National Champion will be crowned July 18.
