A7FL Expands To Boston

Welcome to the A7FL Boston – A7FL expands from 4 to 8 divisions for 2022!

A7FL Boston

After a successful 2021 Spring season featuring 20 teams in 4 divisions (New Jersey, Maryland, Florida, and San Diego), the A7FL continues to pick up momentum. For 2022, the league is adding 4 expansion divisions headed by a talented group of local owners determined to lead the charge in their respective markets. Boston starts it off and we have 3 more markets and owners to announce.

“In the last 3 years, we’ve set out on an aggressive growth plan and – even with the challenges of Covid – have been able to successfully field teams, develop new partnerships and grow our footprint across the country,” said A7FL Co-Founder and CEO Sener Korkusuz.  “Add to that the ability to attract ownership in 4 new divisions tells us we are on the right path with a brand of football fans want to see.”

Denzel White, A7FL Boston Division Owner

The A7FL will be adding 4 new expansion divisions – making a total of 8 – for 2022. An impressive group of division owners will spearhead our local efforts across the country as we prepare for our 8th season.

Life coach, wealth management expert and self-proclaimed entrepreneur, Denzel White has worn many hats in his career and now he’s been selected as A7FL’s new Boston division owner, joining our existing Northeast Divisions from New Jersey and Baltimore.  As White tells it, the enjoyment of creating a new business and developing new ideas made the A7FL a perfect fit:

“I understand that sports are a big part of many cultures around the world and in the USA American football is a very well-known and respected industry,” he said.  “As a business person, I believe in exploring new opportunities across all avenues.”

Northeastern teams have had a long history of success in the A7FL, including New Jersey’s Paterson U who defeated the Trenton BIC to win the 2021 Championship.  White believes the Massachusetts market will be perfect for the A7FL with dedicated football junkies throughout the New England area and strong ties to the NFL’s Patriots.

“We have so many people that love playing and watching the sport, not to mention the people that just love representing their teams and favorite players by wearing the apparel,” White noted. “I believe the New England area will embrace the A7FL as now they’ll be able to continue to enjoy the sport they love during the NFL’s off-season. Plus Boston players are tough and no helmets, no pads is right up their alley.“

White insists he has the names of all 8 teams in the new division already picked out, but he’s not letting the cat out of the bag just yet. No matter what they’re called, he’s excited to hit the ground running and has several short-term goals.

“The first is to develop a strong A7FL divisional management team,” he explained. “Second, is to use the platform to help promote positive community engagement focused around youth. Lastly, I want to bring a diverse form of entertainment into the New England area that will help promote an all-inclusive atmosphere in the business and social realm.”

As a bonus, White plans to allow the acceptance of cryptocurrencies as payment for the purchase of everything from tickets to team merchandise. He believes his approach will match the youthful fan base he hopes to attract:

“This is a young professional version of football that many people who played in the backyard, at the town park, or in an open field as a child with friends and family used to enjoy,” he noted. “For most people, playing and watching this kind of football brings up a happy period of time in their life and a subconscious attraction to the sport.”

White also believes that the A7FL is about to undergo incredible growth and he’s excited to get the chance to participate and witness it firsthand. As a proud owner of an A7FL Division, White says he’s ready to face anything that comes his way – with a little help from another entertainment pioneer.

“Two of my favorite quotes are from Walt Disney,” he concluded. “The first is: ‘We keep moving forward, opening new doors and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.’ I agree with that 100% but not only does curiosity help us to grow but so does courage.  As Disney also said and demonstrated himself, ‘Courage is the main quality of leadership, in my opinion, no matter where it is exercised. Usually, it implies some risk — especially in new undertakings.’ So that’s what I hope to bring to the A7FL, both curiosity and courage.”
