$50,000 – A7FL DELIVERS RECORD PAYOUT FOR 2022:

A7FL 2022 $50000 Prize Money

36 A7FL TEAMS TO COMPETE FOR OVER $50,000 IN TOTAL PRIZE MONEY

As American 7s Football expands throughout the country, the league has been boosting its prize money year after year and for 2022 that pool has grown to more than $50,000, the highest amount ever offered by the league. With 9 divisions set for 2022, the number of teams (36) and the prize money have both more than doubled for the upcoming season.

“It’s great to be able to offer more prize money,” commented A7FL Co-Founder and President Ryan DePaul. “But for most of our players it’s really about being able to compete and play the game they love. They already have the fire but the cash incentive is a bonus.”

With double the money and new divisions in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Cincinnati, Boston and Washington, DC, the pressure is on for all the teams but especially the Paterson U, who’ve captured the A7FL Championship for the past two seasons. For 2022, the team that wins the title will take home $25,000 with additional prize money for the divisional and conference champions and runners-up.
