The sun is beginning to shine on a brand new A7FL Season as we launch the opening of our 2022 season this Sunday, March 27 at 1:00 PM live at A7FL.TV
The eighth season of the A7FL begins on March 27th with teams facing off across the United States for their chance at $50,000 in prize money and the honor of becoming A7FL Champions.
The paths to the A7FL Championship will begin at Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium on March 27th for four teams, and act as the premiere of the A7FL’s Games Of The Week, as the Trenton BIC will battle the Baltimore Rare Breed, and the expansion DC Buzz will face off against the Old Bridge Hawks.
After falling short in the A7FL Championship game to the Paterson U, the BIC led by Sterry Codrington and Ashante Worthy, look at March 27th as the start of their “redemption season” and will not take the Rare Breed lightly in the latter’s first game and does of national exposure.
The Rare Breed may have a new name, but familiar faces will line up for the franchise, as Marcellous “Pac Money” Pack will look to outshine another dangerous return man Ashante Worthy in a game that will be a must-watch from the opening whistle to the final score.
Our second game features a Hawks team buoyed by returning running backs Mike “Sweetness” Liberti and Khaleel Greene, with A7FL veterans Willie “Money” Mayweather, Cory Hammond, and the man who led the Hawks to the 2020 A7FL Championship game Corey “CP3” Price.
The DC Buzz may come in as the underdogs but also come with the responsibility of being the first franchise of the five new divisions added to the league ahead of our eighth season of play to appear on the league’s biggest platform.
With a litany of A7 veterans on their roster, the Buzz look to clip the Hawks’ wings the same way the New Jersey Savage did to Old Bridge on opening day in 2021.
