Boca Raton, FL: The American 7s Football League, one of sports’ fastest growing and most exciting new leagues, today announced its expansion to 20 teams for its 2020 season and the launch of an equity crowdfunding campaign on StartEngine, the world’s leading crowdfunding investment platform. Sports fans will now have A7FL teams on both coasts as the league expands from its Northeast roots with a new West Coast division, including teams from San Diego, Riverside and Anaheim. And investors can own shares in a league based on local teams, players who compete based on a passion for the game and smash-mouth action. The A7FL has pioneered a completely new football format, 7-on-7 without helmets or hard-shell pads, that provides the toughness and excitement that fans love while significantly reducing concussions and other repetitive head impacts. Not only has the league proven to be safer for players, but it’s also a massive hit with fans who respond to the A7FL’s viral videos. They also cheer for the league’s previously undiscovered stars, who combine heart and talent along with a variety of nicknames including “Ice Cream Truck,” “All Purpose” and “MambaStackz.”
“Through five seasons of A7FL football, we’ve seen our content reach over 100M people and our social media accounts attract more than 500K followers,” said Sener Korkusuz, CEO and Co-Founder. “We’ve created a whole new style of football and now both fans and investors can join the revolution!”
The A7FL’s 6th season launches on April 19, 2020, and will be distributed live via Eleven Sports, Twitch, and Facebook Live. “I started this league because my friends and I wanted to play real football but without the concussions,” added A7FL President and Co-Founder Ryan DePaul. “It’s really amazing to see how far we’ve come – and American 7s Football is just getting started!”
