Get Ready Cincinnati For The Cincy Sevens and Cin City Chaos

Following an intense first season that left Cincinatti’s Covington Heist one game away from a national playoff birth off the play of division MVP Seth Chambers, A7FL’s Cincinnati division will feature TWO new teams aiming at the A7FL 2023 Championship.

While the Heist and QC Crush will return to action in the ninth A7FL season, new rivals have formed with the introduction of the Cincy Sevens and CinCity Chaos.

The Cincy Sevens, named in homage to the A7FL’s brand of 7v7, no pads, no helmets, all-action style of football, look to bring the hard-hitting action needed to in an attempt to bring Ohio its first A7FL Championship.

“Our first year in the league allowed us to just scratch the surface on what we can do in the Queen City,” said A7FL Cincinnati owner Joe Perez.

“With Seth Chambers and more talent coming from across Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky, 2023 will see a more aggressive and focused effort to play the style needed to be a more competitive division.”

One word that may come to define opponents’ looks in the 2023 season is Chaos, as the CinCity Chaos looks to drive every team that stands across from them with a whirlwind of hard hits and game-breaking plays.

With four teams and now new competition with the introduction of the A7FL Columbus division looking to touch down in the city on the banks of the Ohio River, Perez feels that iron will sharpen iron on the path to crowning an A7FL Champion in July 2023.

“From the moment an Ohian is born, their love for football and their community is instilled in them,” said Perez.

“Now is the time for us to harness that passion, that dedication, and that connection to our communities to show that not only is Ohio the home of NFL and college football, but it is the home of A7FL football for years to come.
