A7FL eSports Tournament
Here are the details and rules of the A7FL eSports Tournament at the 2023 National A7FL Championship Weekend.
- Tournament Format:
a. The tournament will follow a single-elimination bracket format.
b. Each round will be best-of-one. - Game Settings:
a. Game Mode: Exhibition.
b. Difficulty: All-Madden.
c. Quarter Length: 5 minutes.
d. Accelerated Clock: On.
e. Weather: Clear.
f. Injuries: On.
g. Fatigue: On. - Team Selection:
a. Teams must be selected from the current official roster of Madden teams.
b. Each player may use a different team in each round if they choose to. - Home Team:
a. Players will be seeded based on a first come first seeded basis.
b. Higher and Home seeds will be filled first. - Disconnects and Lag:
a. If a disconnection occurs within the first quarter, the match will be restarted.
b. If a disconnection occurs after the first quarter, the leading player will be
declared the winner.
c. If lag is consistently an issue and both players agree, they can try to reschedule
the match. - No Cheating or Glitch Exploitation:
a. The use of any cheat codes, exploits, or glitches that give an unfair advantage
is strictly prohibited.
b. Any player found cheating will be disqualified from the tournament. - No Intentional Quitting:
a. Intentionally quitting a game mid-match is not allowed and may result in
disqualification. - Sportsmanship:
a. All participants are expected to show good sportsmanship during the
tournament.
b. Any disrespectful behavior, including trash-talking or abusive language, will not
be tolerated and may result in penalties or disqualification. - Reporting Match Results:
a. The winner of each match is responsible for reporting the results to the
tournament organizer.
b. Screenshots or video proof of the final score may be required to validate
the results. - Schedule Adherence:
a. Players must be punctual and adhere to the tournament schedule.
b. Failure to show up for a match within 15 minutes of the scheduled time may
result in a forfeit. - Disputes and Rule Interpretation:
a. Any disputes regarding rule interpretations or match results should be brought
to the attention of the tournament organizer.
b. The tournament organizer’s decision on any disputes will be final. - Prize Distribution:
a. The tournament organizer will announce the prize distribution before the start
of the tournament.
b. Prize winners will be contacted after the tournament for necessary details to
receive their prizes.
