The DC Division Adds Team From Northern Virginia Moving Into The 2024 Season
Boca Raton, Florida, December 14, 2023 — The A7FL proudly announces the Washington DC Division’s addition of its newest team, the NOVA CHARGE, set to compete in the A7FL Eastern Conference starting in March 2024. This exciting development marks the expansion of the DC division to include a Northern Virginia team for the first time.
The name “NOVA CHARGE” was chosen to honor the deep history of battle-ready men coming out of Virginia as a part of the Revolutionary War. The term “NOVA” signifies the Northern Virginia area from which this new team hails in joining the DC Division. The team aims to embody this spirit of resilience and determination as they charge towards the 2024 A7FL Championship.
Lawrence Brown, the owner of the A7FL Washington DC Division, expressed his excitement about the growth of A7FL’s 7-on-7 style of football in the DC area and across the nation, saying, “We are thrilled to welcome the NOVA CHARGE to the A7FL Washington DC division. Their addition not only strengthens our league but also represents the passion and dedication of players and fans in the entire DMV region.”
