All American is Looking to Bring an A7FL Championship Back to Newark

Lets talk about Amir “Chicc” Morris, 29 years old, this guy is truly an amazing talent.  Not only was he an all American back in High School but he also was a top 100 ESPN High School Player of the year out of Irvington High School (New Jersey).  He was recruited to Kansas State and went on to play for the Miami Crush.

I wanted to know more about why this man wasn’t playing at the next level and what the extent of his career was at Kansas but Amir would only tell me that he loved the game of football and was determined to bring a championship back to Newark.  Amir’s original team, SWG was a juggernaut that amassed 4 A7FL Championships and 3 undefeated seasons.  Newark has not won an A7FL Championship since SWG closed up shop but the New Jersey Savage could have all the ingredients they need for a Championship run in 2019.  Watch them live as the host the Baltimore Vikings who were 10-1 in 2018.

— “29 is not old in the A7FL, in fact I believe 28-32 are the prime ages when your mind capacity finally catches up to the abilities of your body.  I’ll be 40 in a few weeks but at the age of 34 I was playing the best football of my life.” — Ryan DePaul, President A7FL.
